The framework that protects respect, peace and accountability.

These principles guide participation, conduct, elections, discipline and organisational accountability.

Rules 1–13

House rules and regulations.

1 — Non-Partisanship

The House remains open to Atyap members belonging to different political parties. No political party shall own or control the platform.

2 — Atyap Identity

Membership is restricted to persons who are Atyap by birth, subject to verification.

3 — Respect

Personal attacks, insults, humiliation, harassment and abusive language are not permitted.

4 — Freedom of Opinion

Members may hold different political opinions when expressed responsibly and peacefully.

5 — No Hate Speech

Ethnic, religious, gender-based or political hatred shall not be promoted.

6 — No Violence or Threats

Threats, intimidation, incitement to violence or endorsement of political violence are prohibited.

7 — Verification of Information

Members should make reasonable efforts to verify political information before sharing it as fact.

8 — Confidentiality

Personal information, phone numbers, registration details and private records shall not be published without appropriate consent.

9 — No Impersonation

No member shall impersonate another member, leader, public official or institution.

10 — No Misuse

The platform shall not be used for blackmail, financial fraud, political intimidation or settling private disputes.

11 — Leadership Accountability

Elected leaders remain accountable to membership and operate within the Constitution and approved policies.

12 — Financial Transparency

Funds collected on behalf of the House shall be documented, accounted for and reported to members.

13 — Discipline

Violations may lead to warning, suspension or termination depending on seriousness and after a fair disciplinary process.

Elections

Transparent democratic leadership.

  1. Thirteen executive offices are filled through periodic democratic elections.
  2. Only verified members in good standing vote.
  3. Only eligible members may contest.
  4. Elections must be transparent and fair.
  5. Party affiliation shall not be a basis for discrimination.
  6. Guidelines are published before each election.
  7. An independent Electoral Committee may conduct elections.
  8. Election disputes follow the established dispute-resolution mechanism.
Discipline

Due process matters.

  1. Complaint formally recorded.
  2. Member informed of allegation.
  3. Member given an opportunity to respond.
  4. Appropriate committee investigates.
  5. Decision based on available facts.
  6. Right of appeal where applicable.
House Declaration:

We are Atyap by birth. We may belong to different political parties, but our identity remains one. We may support different candidates, but we shall respect one another. We shall debate ideas without destroying relationships. We shall promote credible information over propaganda, dialogue over insults, unity over division and peaceful participation over violence.
