Join the Atyap House of Politics.

Membership is strictly based on Atyap by birth and is subject to verification. Registration records are private and are not publicly displayed.

Eligibility

Atyap by birth.

A person qualifies where the person is Atyap by birth and has Atyap parentage/ancestral origin, regardless of political party, religion, gender, social or economic status, place of residence, state or country of residence, or political ideology.

Marriage into Atyap does not, by itself, confer membership under this provision.

Registration process

  1. Complete the official membership/e-registration form.
  2. Provide basic information for verification.
  3. Declare that you are Atyap by birth.
  4. Agree to the Constitution, rules and regulations.
  5. Provide accurate information.
  6. Receive confirmation after verification.
Membership categories

One fundamental requirement.

A

Ordinary Members

Atyap sons and daughters who register and meet the membership requirements.

B

Distinguished Members

Members who have made notable contributions to Atyap political, social, economic or civic development.

C

Founding Members

Members who participated in establishing and developing the Atyap House of Politics.

D

Diaspora Members

Eligible Atyap sons and daughters residing outside Nigeria who meet the same membership requirements.

Membership records shall be maintained in a secure database accessible only to authorised officials for legitimate organisational purposes.

  • Verified members can participate in discussions and activities.
  • Members may express political opinions respectfully.
  • Eligible members may vote and contest for elective positions.
  • Members may raise matters affecting Atyap people.
